Radiotherapy therapy for benign disorders
Radiotherapy is also used to stop local, acute and chronic inflammations and growths. In the case of benign disorders, low doses of radiation are sufficient. The therapy is carried out on the accelerator or on a special X-ray therapy unit (orthovolt therapy).
